Little less talk and lot more Toby!

Here we go, another layout with Toby baby!  It just amazes me here it is February and I am catching up on the concert photos still and I can just still vision the whole experience.  This man really puts on a show for his fans I gotta tell you.  I wish I would of taken a few photos of the fans.  Wow I could of done a few look a likes for the memory book too, all part of that first concert experience.  Drinking, oh man the drinking!  Toby too!  Yes! Right there on stage drinking away!!

I really love how this page turned out!  Was a fun kit to work with.  My mom called a little bit ago, I just got done wiping the tears away.  Turns out she was in the hospital for the past three days.  Wasn’t it nice of my brother to call and let me know!  In case you can’t tell, he didn’t call me and I am really upset about it.  She is so worried about the bills now, which is something we all worry about these days.  She told me she is going to call one of those credit repair services because she just don’t know  how she is going to be able to pay the medical bills on top of her other payments, she max out her credit cards already buying medication she needed.  Sad isn’t it?  What we have to do to make it day to day?  I told her she just needs to worry about taking care of herself and getting better and not think about the bills that may be coming.  She has bell’s palsy and hoping its temporary, not sure if its permanent.  I just don’t understand why not even her friend called me?  I would of went to the hospital and been there with her while she went through the testing.  I have fought all my life to try and have a relationship with her and its getting harder and harder anymore.  I am glad she called to let me know and she told me not to worry about her.  Yeah as if that is gonna happen!

I’m just scrapping about Toby!

I had a little time today and thought I catch up a little on my scrapping.  This is the second picture I took of Toby.  Actually I have a few head shots in between this and the first photo I took and what I mean about that is other folks heads getting in the way.  I really am not kidding when I told you I literally was holding the camera above my head, zooming in and snapping!  I even had a nice lady who sat next to us taking my camera and trying to catch a few pictures for me too.  When I seen this one I could just hear him singing.  The bass was so loud, you could feel the ground moving under your feet and my chest, literally it felt as if my heart was just beating along to its beat.

A friend of ours found a new job and she is just so excited about it.  She has been sending her resumes out, as she has been laid off for a while now and an opportunity opened up and when we went to have pizza yesterday she was so excited to tell us about it.  She is just so sweet too and she starts her new job this coming Wednesday.  She told me she send an email to let me know how her first day went.  She will be cutting back how much she works at the pizza shop just to Sunday’s.  If we go that is generally the day we go anyhow.  Today she was going shopping for some new clothes.  I hope one day to go back to work, when we can afford to have a second car that is!  Being home bound all the time, is so hard, especially in the winter months!!

Maybe get him a shuffle for Valentines

I noticed since hubby got me my ipod nano, which I totally love and use each and every day, that he has been looking at ipods.  My daughter bought herself a new one and gave him her old one, but when he hooks it up in the car he keeps getting data errors, so its not loading correctly when trying to sync in the car.  He is totally bumming now.  So I thought maybe I get him one of the ipod shuffles for Valentines Day, if he is serious about wanting one.  Generally I get him a lighter for his collection since it is what he likes, but maybe this year I will surprise him.   I should do another layout of his collection again so you can see how much its grown since the last time I scrapped it.  My daughter got paid today and she is in her room right now  downloading new songs from itunes.  That girl, what am I going to do with her?  She needs to save for a car!!  That light bulb in her head?  I think it burned out!

Sick kitty here at home

I am just so exhausted by the time evening comes and I get settled a little bit, I just have not had any energy left to scrap!  Our youngest kitty is just having the most difficult time right now.  He had a UTI infection around Christmas and resurfaced again.  Saturday night I had to wake up hubby at 1:30 in the morning to take him to the emergency clinic, then back to the Vet Monday, then not even an hour and a half after seeing our Vet, to the after hours clinic because the antibiotic shot that he gave him caused some nerve injury to his hind paw, round the clock care for the little guy!  We took him back today for his second antibiotic shot and requested they didn’t give to him the same way they did the last time.  So he is quiet this evening.

I even missed a few sales this week, like over at Gotta Pixel!  OH well there is always next week!

Winter Magic (kit)

Oh, look another sweet kit for my scrap  luv (wish list).  This one is by Kay Miller!  Her kits are just the sweetest.  I tell you when I see her precious kits it makes me wish my kids were all little again, or for the moment, that I was a grandma.  I would have such a ball scrapping photos with them.  I love the light pastel feel to this kit, kind of gives winter a feel good, pick me up kinda feeling inside!  It just so cute!

I am kind of taking things a little slow today, hoping after dinner to get another scrap page done of Toby.  Then I can tell a little more about the experience of his concert.  A friend of mine online is looking for a NJ Cosmetic dentist.  What is cool is we meet on Twitter and we email back and forth now, as Toby’s concert kind of brought our friendship together.  He and Trace had their concert in NJ the night before having it at Blossom!  Was kind of neat to make a friendship like that.  She even sent me a picture in the snail mail!  I won’t scrap that though because I didn’t take it, but once I order my book I am going to take it on the inside cover with our tickets!!  I even met another gal who was in Florida but lost contact with her.

This is the first picture I took of Toby at the concert.  Mind you now when Toby hit the stage, it was a whole new experience for the rest of the concert!  Hubby and I wondered why there was so many empty seats when Trace was singing, and it made it much easier for taking pictures, but when Toby hit the stage, that place was packed tighter than a herd of cattle!  No one sat either, everyone was standing.  So getting pictures was seriously taking my chances by holding my camera above my head and taking it!  They may not be as close in as all my Trace pictures are, and I don’t have as many because of the packed house, but I have some just the same.  As I post my scraps I will share a little of the experience it was with Toby!  Here is my first layout with Toby, and his Ford Truck set up! Toadally Yours (kit)

Hey check it out, I have not been to Mary Frans site for a while and thought hey I have not posted a scrap luv as of yet this year.  If your new to visiting my blog, scrap luvs are the scrap kits I wish for and hope to one day get.  I know she will be having a sale soon (in the spring maybe), so I post my scrap luvs and then I can go back through and keep by eyes out on a sale, or sometimes a friend will gift me a gift certificate to the scrap store so that I can purchase the kit.

You have to go visit her site and see this kits full preview size, it “Toadally” rocks!  I just adore this kit, I use to use her kits, with permission of course, when I use to change my blog to themes for holidays, and if I was to do that again, this would definitely be the one I would of picked for February!

Well hubby and his co workers are all signing up again for a who can loose the most weight!  They did this last year for a few weeks.  Its funny how they all talk about their weight loss diet plans, one is cutting back to light beer, one is going to start bowling with his kids on the Wii standing up (I am trying to vision how you bowl just sitting in a chair with the remote), and hubby is saying he isn’t changing, he cut enough calories in his diet!  I just crack up.  They chip in a quarter each weigh in and at the end of the month who ever lost the most weight get the pot!

I caught the dollar sale over at Elemental Scraps today!  I got four kits, one kit just to scrap the kitties with too!  I love when I find pet themed scrap kits!!
