Why I only share sample sizes of layouts!

Apparently there is some commotion within the scrapping community. Yes, sadly enough there are those folks who hop galleries and steal peoples layouts, edit out the pictures then insert their own pictures, sadly enough. This is why when ever I did post in a gallery or when I post here at my scrap blog, its NOT the FULL size of my layout, but a sample size of it, very small sample size at that! If someone is going to come along and extract off an element or off pictures and take it, they are not going to get the full size deal!
Why would someone up and do that? Do they think it is a free for all on the net or what? Very sad indeed. But there goes on anywhere there is graphics concerned. Just like my pictures I am scrapping from the Toby Keith and Trace Adkins concert. I have decided to put a watermark over the photos of the sample layout when I post the actual pictures of the guys. I am not posting for someone else to come along, snatch it and run to make themselves an avatar, signature tag or an email stat with it! NOT doing it. By posting with a marking over it, my readers and visitors can still see and enjoy them. I want to show them off, but not for the sharks to come and feed off of.
Just like freebies. I try and give out a monthly something. I try very hard not to get frustrated at the LACK of manners with thank yous, I really do. But here it is JULY and I have given away 12 freebies already, with literally hundreds of downloads and maybe 1 to 5 thank yous! Very sad isn’t it? I can’t imagine myself going to download a freebie and just leaving without saying thanks! So then I sit and say to myself… why bother? I enjoy being creative and am a very giving person in nature but there is a limit. I have some really cute things like my Pumpkin Pie Alpha’s I made I love to share, and that alpha took me hours to make!! I think perhaps that will be one I keep to myself instead.
Setting up for “Yummy Time”

Oh yeah can you feel the anticipation here in this layout or what!! You can tell I am getting closer to the pictures with Trace oh yeah baby! This is a layout of the guys taking down Sean Patrick McGraw’s band equipment and setting up for Trace band. Check out that backdrop! Oh yeah I LOVE to have that as the wallpaper in our house, just in my bedroom works for me LOL (thats what I told hubby LOL). I was so excited, my heart was skipping beats just sitting and waiting for Trace to walk out on stage!!!
Sean Patrick McGraw

This is a layout I did from a picture I took of Sean Patrick McGraw, who was the opening act for Trace and Toby Keith the night of the concert. I was a little surprised I was the only one taking a picture that evening, at least where we were sitting anyway, but felt to truly remember the experience and night I wanted too.

Wow, ever take time to read some of your spam comments? I always try to skim the folder because I hate to miss any comments from my visitors that were not spam. What is the deal with some people wanting to know how I am or if I am going to blog about the death of Michael Jackson? Wow. I think there is enough out there right now, I don’t need to add to it. It’s sad that we lost three great entertainers this year, it really is, but let the family have some peace and let them mourn! Honestly! This is a scrap blog for crying out loud!
Oh, I am loving working on my concert photos. I know I am so far behind on other photos but I want to get my concert ones done so I can get my book printed. I was hoping to have done and take the book to our family reunion but not sure that is going to happen until my right hand fully mends, I can’t do as much. But I been shopping for kits, you know I have to have the perfect kit, I have some already lined up but when I was over at Divine Digital I seen some great Paris themed kits and then that got me to thinking about how wonderful it would be to be able to go on one of those European cruises My hubby tells me its never going to happen you know. I have always wanted to go to Italy! Every year when Olive Garden has their contest to win a trip I enter. Hey if he won’t go I will find someone who will go with me. I would love it more if he went but it would be a dream come true! But its so awesome when designers can make digital kits that bring certain visions to life in your mind, like one of my dreams. It’s like you can just picture yourself there!!
I hope to have another layout posted today. I almost at the best parts of the concert pictures. TRACE and TOBY baby! Yum Yum!
