Our Flower Bed!
May 26, 2007
Here is a scrapping moment. This is our flower bed that my hubby and I worked on! Again this is resized to display here in my blog:

We planted 33 plants in there and can’t wait till they grow and bloom and take another picture. The buckboard is a present from my dad from a few years ago. He asked me once what my favorite color was, I told him pink. So when Dennis brought it over (this was my Christmas Present back then), the wheels were PINK! LOL Well it didn’t really look right with pink wheels LOL. So this past winter hubby took the wheels off and painted them a hunter green. The buckboard inside is lined with white rocks and a planter with beautiful flowers.

I am so proud of my very first digital scrap page!! I have resized this sample from the original size so I can come to show them off in my blog! I love making scrap tags and now look out I am doing bigger and better things LOL

These are pictures of Lake Erie at Headlands Beach Park, which is very very close to our home. It was a cool evening and I wanted to try out my new camera that I got for Mother’s Day I think the pictures are so pretty and I captured the moment so it will last a lifetime…

Lookout Momma has a new camera!!
May 12, 2007
Oh I am just so excited!!! This evening hubby took me out to find something for Mother’s Day! We went to the mall and there was a ring I wanted but the sale ended last week, and we walked around, looked, and looked and I could not find anything I wanted really. Hubby wanted me to pick something out for Mother’s Day, so we left and ended up at Walmart, I could not pick out any jewerly I wanted, with babysitting I can’t wear necklaces anyhow and I didn’t see a ring I wanted but knew I had to pick out something so I was looking at bracelets and he said don’t just picking something out you really don’t want. He wants it to be something I really want. So I started looking at digital cameras. Our’s is so old, the max mega pixels is 3 ok! That is a digital scrapper’s nightmare!!! So we started looking and saw two I liked, well one I liked, one he liked. The Sony was out of stock but the one I wanted was in stock and PINK LOL. Here is a picture of my new digital camera:

This is a Polaroid I733….. an Exclusive Breast Cancer Awareness Camera, and compared to our beast, its awesome, so tiny and has this cute lil lense pops out and totally cool!! I am sooo happy because now I can go scrap happy!! It also can do video and sound recording for a mini video, so this is cool! I step up as it is 7.1 mega pixel resolution with 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom!!
Of course I will share with hubby at home but out I bet he won’t wanna use it cause its PINK LOL
It’s National Scrapbooking Day today!!
May 5, 2007
Today is National Scrapbooking Day and I have been busy going my favorite digital scrapbooking sites and having fun browsing and shopping. I love a 50% off sale!!! This is a once a year deal and I am excited. As many of you know I have been creating digital scrapbooking elements and working on some kits. Of course this is a back burner project, but I am having a ball when I can play that is!! I love to create with the digital scrap kits making beautiful tags and such with them. I am in process of getting my wedding photo’s put onto a cd from the negatives, I sure hope it works!! I could scan them all but I don’t want to lose any quality from the photo’s. Our wedding album is so beautiful. I am getting ready to make a scrapbook of my kiddies, starting with my daughter to have completed by her graduation party next summer! I think it would be great, I have saved report cards, papers and art work, you name it, I have it. It may end up making mini books by age! But it will be awesome!!
We lost al ot of their pictures and items from the black mold last year but what I have to work with will be as awesome as ever!
I have to say its good to see sooo many talented and gifted people who come up with beautiful scrap kits to play with. I think I will have plenty to play with for years go come!! Its funny how things change over time and my interest in pixel art and graphics have changed tremendously. I don’t miss being involved with these types of things anymore when its too cut throat bullshit, out to be your friend to milk you for ideas you know what I mean??
Stay-at-home mother’s work worth $138,095 a year!!!
May 3, 2007
If the typical stay-at-home mother in the United States were paid for her work as a housekeeper, cook and psychologist among other roles, she would earn $138,095 a year, according to research done this week!
How about them apples?? They say stay at home moms actually have 10 jobs, housekeeper, cook, day care center teacher, laundry machine operator, van driver, facilities manager, janitor, computer operator, chief executive officer and psychologist!!
Hmm, I think they are missing a few, such as accountant and a nurse!!
Personally speaking as a mother, you can not put a value or a price on what we do. Mothers who work at home, or out of the home, we are multi taskers and there is only one word to use for Mother’s in general….. PRICELESS!!
