Why do people have to ruin it??
July 31, 2007
Why do people have to ruin the excitement of something that is so important to them? I just don’t understand. A sweet friend of mine has been testing the waters to find the perfect digital camera for them. When she finally found the one she wanted and was so excited for the deal she got and a year no interest or payments so she has plenty time to pay it, someone or a few had to ruin it for her. This upsets me highly. I am excited for her, we talked on the phone and she caught me while I was looking for a very important document I needed to find to supply information by a certain time frame and didn’t get to ask a whole lot about it. I think she did a great thing and did a good thing because it was something she wanted for such a long time and seemed to work out. She comes home and tries to tell her so called friends online and they ended up making her feel guilty and should take it back. What was up with that?
She is someone who is always there for her friends, no matter what, they hurt her feelings from time to time and yet she is still there. She doesn’t do that to them and she doesn’t rain on your parade’s. So to who ever did that, if you happen to visit my scrap blog, then I have three words for you… SHAME ON YOU!
I, like my friend, have been hurt online, way too many times and sometimes we ask ourselves why do we do this to ourselves? But its our only connection to the outside world most days. But I have to say at least we are able to find each other and know that its not a total loss or waste to be on the Internet. So to my sweet friend who has a new dream digital camera. YOU GO GIRL!! Someday maybe that will be me too!
Just recently I had my feelings really hurt and decided I need to pull away from the source. I am not going to make a production out of it but it really feels degrading when your only wanted for your dollars you spend! That’s how I feel! I won’t be spending those dollars there anymore.

New Look and Reunion Tomorrow
July 27, 2007
I been wanting to change the look of my blog for quite sometime. I got tired of using the same template. So I went on the prowl thus to speak and found a theme that was made with this template and I wrote to the template designer to ask if I could use his template and replace with graphics of my choosing and colors. I was so happy to hear back with his permission. Big thanks. I love the look and the feel. Its more open and I think every easy on the eyes. I love the theme I created, so soft and Pink *wink*. What can I say I am a girl girl!
Tomorrow is my hubby’s family reunion. I still need to empty out the digital camera so I can take lots of pictures tomorrow, if they let me. I am the coordinator. I been working hard the past year as I collected items I seen on sale for prizes. I have a container filled with tootsie rolls for a guess the count. How many are there. I can’t tell ya now. But its a lot. A dentist dream come true for dental work amount LOL. I have a gift basket ready for a door prize, about 30 lil prizes to give out. I ordered more bingo chips from ebay as I was a wee bit short of them last year and they used peanuts in their shells LOL. My daughter baked two pans of brownies, I have a seedless watermelon to still cut up, baked beans with bacon to fix in the morning, we have 75 chicken wings, some tarts. My daughter and I are taking some ham for a ham sandwich. I got these cute lil cup like dishes and some a huge can of Planter’s Dry Roasted Peanuts that I am going to set up on the tables, a little something to munch while folks arrive before we eat or after for that matter. The games bag is packed up, and my picnic bag is packed, table is cluttered with stuff for tomorrow LOL. Sure is a lot of work.
Dad is not going tomorrow. He is going to a tractor pull. Yeah Yeah what else is new right?? So tomorrow I won’t be even turning on my computer until after we get home. Its so hard for me to be in front of a group of people. Literally by the time I get home, hubby pulls in just in the nick of time for me to go and hurl from my nerves. I get panic attacks and sick like. I will be worried about dad and hope he will be home about the time we are. Please not another out till 2 AM, I don’t think my nerves can take it!!
So I hope you enjoy my new look, I love some feedback if your visiting. Have a great day, Bobbie have fun camping, I will be thinking of you as I use my private HOME bathroom LOL
