Isn’t that Fraud??

July 18, 2007

It just never ceases to amaze me what some do.  My hubby went to Allcare Dental, the exam and xrays were free, first visits are free.  They quoted him over 7,000 worth for work.  We wanted to break up up over a period of time so we could get more insurance coverage as its only 1,000 per year.  Well it was all or nothing.  So obviously we elected nothing with them.   So I made hubby an appointment with Sears to take care of three teeth, one of them got a root canal and then three crowns total.  Surely it didn’t add up to 7,000.  All the major work is right there, rest are just a few cavities and cleanings good to go.  So  we paid out part and started the work.

About a week ago I get a dental claim from Delta Dental and here those idiots billed them for the visit and xrays and they were paid $99.00 from our insurance.  Now that just messed everything up with Sears.  So I call the insurance because our slip said NO charge visit, was free.   So they said I would have to call Allcare and tell them to cancel and return the funds, then if not call the insurance fraud department.  OK.  So I call Allcare and the manager ends up calling me back.  So what do they do???  They sent a check to my husband for a refund of $99.00 instead of owning up to the insurance company for what they did.  ERR NOT!  This is not our money, that belongs to the insurance company.

So what if the our insurance still covers what Sears expected, then this money is who’s?  NOT ours.  NO way in heck are we cashing this check, they are out of their mind.  So I called Sears today and they said oh no they are not allowed to do that.  So our balance is still showing zero but could possibly leave 99 out there for us to be responsible.  So after they have seated hubby’s crowns I am going to call the insurance company and report this and ask what we should do, if they say to cash and give money to Sears then we will, but only if they send that in writing.  I don’t want nothing coming back on us later saying we commit fraud.  NO way in heck are we jeopardizing our insurance coverage….  GRRRRR

And we wonder why our insurance premiums are so high and coverage is so low!!!

Blogger’s Beware of Blogative….

July 18, 2007

I am going to post a bloggers beware.  If your looking to sign up for paid blogging I highly do NOT recommend Blogative.  First off, my other blog has data errors in the mysql and my back up files are corrupt.  So therefore I would have to delete the entire blog, and start fresh.  I would not be able to import any old files as they are corrupt.  So thank goodness I have my home here.   So instead of rebuilding again I will move here.   Needless to say these folks gave me a hard time.  I can not recover what is not recoverable.

I think they have a lot of nerve.  The other companies, one of them has already updated me.  No problem.  The other is in process of updating me.  I may have to wait a month or two but thats ok I understand, again this is something beyond one’s control.  So gotta deal right?

First off Blogative states you get paid WEEKLY.  Such is not the case.  I got paid Once in June (on June 18th, 2007) for two posts I did at the beginning of the month.  Then I got paid July 1st, 2007 for a post I did weeks prior to that in June.  I have NOT received a payment for all posts for July that I had and today is July 18th.  It took them three weeks to approve my last post from June.  So they still owed me another 30.00 and I had two pending.      Then they had the nerve to ask for refunds on the three they paid me for when I said to close my account then.    Thats fine and dandy really, the funds where still there anyhow.

There are others who are signed up with them who have not received any payments this month either.  Tell me something, if you go to work and your employer doesn’t pay you for three weeks are you still going to work for that company?  BUT doesn’t the company still OWE you for your time?  If you decide to stop working for this company do they ASK you to give back your money YOU earned from the WORK you did?

Unbeliveable.  So BLOGGERS BEWARE!!  Don’t sign up with them.

I wonder this, I wonder what the companies who signed up with them for ADVERTISING would think about this??  Or how about this, what if tables were turned and the advertisers didn’t pay them for three weeks and then Blogative decided to not do business with them anymore, so the ADVERTISING company says ok then give us back the money we already paid you for advertising you already did???
