Dad is home…and woes of a new toliet!

I been so busy offline trying to catch up on things I am behind in that I forgot to come post friday night that dad came home. They let him come home at dinner time. By time we did the dinner thing and got his meds, which hospital screwed up on dosage and lucky the pharamacist caught it cause had he taken the way it was written he would of been back in the hospital, met with the AT&T rep for changing our service over from Time Warner Cable, it was almost bed time.
He is doing pretty good. He was happy to come home. Thats for sure. I am soooo exhausted its not even funny. From the lack of sleep and the running on fumes then playing catch up this weekend, I am just plum tuckered out!
Today hubby and I had to to replace the toliet in our bathroom off our bedroom. OH that was FUN, err NOT LOL. Any major project hubby gets pissy and cranky and its bitch n moan till its done. One thing you can NOT shortcut is seating a new toliet so it seals. It really was a simple thing to do, but I did have to go out for a new wax seal cause he sort of messed up and I wasn’t willing to chance reusing the wax seal.. NO NO NO. I had him cut some tile away as this toliet is different shaped cause it was tiled a bit and he wasn’t happy I wanted the tile cut away. AGAIN NO shortcuts to SEATing a toliet. If it was level and rocked it would never seal right. But its done and working great!! The beast we took out was a 6 gallon flush, who can afford the water to flush it? There was absolutely NO ROOM for error when ya flushed it. WE didn’t use it cause it just didn’t work right. It needed new guts but they don’t make em anymore and well it was time. I am tired of needing to use the bathroom and not being able to get in. So I wanted a working toliet is that too much to ask???? LOL Not as expensive as you would think either! So all is well, tank seated easy peasy and the test to see if it flushed work so its seated A-OK! So that was our Sunday, the afternoon literally went down the crapper!! But the new one is only 1.6 gallon so yeah I can afford to flush now LOL
I had to get a new shower curtain for the other bathroom, new rug, kids needed new blankets, so I ran to wally world after wards then grabbed some KFC chicken for dinner, I am was too tuckered out to cook. I been running for days and I am exhausted!!
