Blogger’s Beware of Ziggy Hosting!

I have to say its truly very hard to find affordable hosting that is trustworthy and reliable.  I know if I had it my way I would have my sites hosted with, but my hubby limits my expenses when it comes to the cost of having my blogs.  So I tried ehost, but there was way too much down time.  I like the fact that I could house all my sites under one account, it made it easier with the expense and getting hubby’s approval.  But every time I turned around they were down, so I thought hey lets check out eBay!  I don’t recommend this at all, from my experience anyway.  So I chose to go with Ziggy Host.  Yes they did cost double in what I was paying with ehost since I was paying per site and thought maybe that would make a difference.  HA!  NOT!!  It was taking my site so long to load I was getting some frustrated feedback to my paid posts being rejected.  So enough was enough.  But again I am limited to what I can spend a year for hosting due.  SO as I am trying to move my site, come to find out my site was corrupted, there was some sort of virus in it, that was not there when I was with ehost and thank gosh I back up my entries weekly because I lost the entire site!  This isn’t something you want to happen.  The full back up file was corrupt and not usable as I said due to the fact of a virus.  So now my post counts are all off and some of my paid postings are going to be rejected until I fix the post number.  It makes me very frustrated because this could affect my over all rating with the paid posting companies I am working with.   So I canceled my hosting account with them.  Support sucks, and if you try to send an email it bounces back to you EXCEPT their paypal email address.  But of course that is not going to bounce is it?  I mean seriously folks that’s the account that they make money from.  So I had to resort in sending an email to not only their pay-pal addy but via eBay.  I left neutral feedback although I wanted to leave negative.  But hubby was worried that they would retaliate and leave me a negative too.  Of course that just real mature.  So then when they “refund me” its not an instant refund, rather its a “pending funds are in their account”  what the heck kind of crap is that?  It wasn’t until I said I was forwarding all these emails, the emails that bounced and everything to my attorney that they sent a instant transfer and what sucks EVEN more is I lost fee’s out of that.  Now a dollar is only a dollar but seriously I think I lost enough!  So blogger’s before, I do not recomment ziggy host!!!
