Why the need for Scrap Smack Crap???

Ok being this is not a FREE blog here, I own the domain, I paid for it, so its mine. I have a right to vent, curse, scream if I want. So this is my take on some disturbing behavior I am seeing in the scrapping world of scraps!
I am appalled to see that sites like BLOGGER allow people to literally smack em! This is defamation of character, plain and simple! I mean they go around and pick on gals who make or design kits that they feel are tasteless, or not even scum worthy. So ok that’s your flipping opinion. Tell me are you a designer? Have you even attempted to create a kit? What gives you the high authority to decide its smack crap? Unbelievable!
I have come to a decision. There are people in this world that just can not be happy unless they are sticking there noses where they don’t belong and causing trouble or I think the better keyword here is DRAMA!
First we are all create differently and do not see the world the same. This is suppose to be a good thing. We are not all programmed the same, we are not robots. Everyone has a style and a taste for things. Some may think is crap, ugly or what not, some may think otherwise, enjoy it, lavish in it.
I have seen some scrap kits, I have seen some layouts and I think OMG are you kidding me? I choose to not download and use it if its free, or I choose to not purchase it. But that doesn’t give me the right to come to my blog and say OMG, Jane Doe has one freaking ugly kit I mean the colors, the elements just suck. I think this is just so rude! What if Jane Doe is new to this and is learning? What if Jane Doe was proud of her work because she actually made it, good or bad, but she did it on her own! She has a right to say hey look what I made. She has a right to feel it’s worthy to sell. So if others don’t buy it that’s ok. If someone comes along and likes it, says hey this is workable and buys it and uses it, that doesn’t make that person tasteless.
And I thought those pixel girls were drama insane? OMG this is just terrible. It’s ironic that this crap gets past around faster than a stench from someone passing gas! Do you not have a life? Do you not have other things more important in your life than to trash others?
So how can someone’s taste be a topic of a discussion? You want to talk about pirating and file sharing. Then stick to the topic at hand. Of course I got to tell you, it makes no sense to me to for me to buy a kit and then go and upload and give it away to the free world. NOT. My take, you want it, you buy it!
If someone pissed you off and you decide to take all their things and give it away, then your stupid fools!! That’s just childish behavior. For example I was friends with someone who now thinks is the queen of the net now and found my friendship was no longer needed. It was ok when I was helping her, promoting her, giving her ideas but then the bank vault door closed or they started to become bigger than a hobby person, just threw it away like yesterday’s garbage. Or how about those site hoppers, you know they open, take your money, close up and move on. So tell me does this give me the right to take all the stuff I have from them to upload it and give it away?? HELL NO! That give’s me NO right at all. Hell I deleted the crap, counted my loss, I mean why in the hell would I want to pass it out, and not only risking being sued for it, but making them even more popular? Hell no. There is an old wise saying, what goes around, comes around. Enough said!
What is more sad is a lot of designers who have CT’s require them to join particular groups and forums for advertising, and personally that is the only reason I am at DST. I have to tell you its suppose to be the hub of the digital scrap community but all I see is its the hub for folks like Scrap Smack Crap, Digital Disturbances, and the list goes on to have a source to fuel their drama fires. How mean to take someone’s scrap they submitted to a gallery to give them the thumbs down for the week! That’s just stupid. Hey if you don’t like my scrap pages, it really quite simple, and I won’t even charge you for this no brainer tip….are you ready for it?? DON’T LOOK AT IT!!
If you see a kit that you think is ugly, or not tasteful, there is an easy fix for that too, and hell I will give you this no brainer tip for free… DON’T BUY IT!!
