Unbelievable. You know I have to tell you what has totally turned me off more than anything in belonging to groups and forums is the drama that commences. I am on a few creative teams. But sometime’s I wonder why in the world the designers require us to join certain groups or certain forums. One of the busiest forums DST seems to just be the breeding ground for DRAMA and FREE blogger SMACK blogs.
I said it before and I will say it again. I don’t understand why the need to pick people apart, their designs, their layouts, what ever. I find it pretty damn disturbing to say the least. But its never going to go away. My feel is this. Its not enjoyable. It takes away from my time to be creating my layouts and posting them. I want to leave that forum and I think I will and just tell those who require me to post in the gallery there that I am not able to do that and if that means I lose my place on their team then so be it. It’s just not worth it.
I don’t post a lot but when I am emailed links and I read them yes I get upset and feel I have a right to say how I feel and I do. But when I don’t feel comfortable there then what is the point. I am sick to death of the drama that folks just cause. It hurts too many people these SMACK blogs and I mean if you see a flipping kit and you say its ugly don’t buy it. Isn’t it just simple?? Do you really have to go and bash and trash them??? I just don’t get it. But the same shit goes in all over everywhere on the web. You can not escape it unless you don’t join any groups or forums.
I just want to take my time and enjoy it. I want to be creative, if I have something to say come to my blog say what I feel I need to say and call it day!
I will tell you this much. If someone own their own site and was posting the crap they feel they can post in the free blogs, they have a whole new accountability to answer for, and if they had to place their ass on the line for it, I can tell you this much….it wouldn’t’ t happen.
So knock it off!! Get back to what it’s suppose to be about… scrapping our families and making memories to last a lifetime.
