Want to rearrange my furniture but need new cable!

Isn’t it just like the cable and phone companies to decide to hook up your receivers in one location, and when the time comes around and you want to rearrange the furniture in your home, its impossible unless you have their cables showing and sticking out. Well I am ready to go purchase my own fiber cable and run the new lines myself. I actually thing the cable I would run would me a better grade of material than what they ran in the first place. Perhaps the quality of our picture or the speed of my internet connection would be better!
