Hubby home from hospital

This is a scrap page of my hubby the day after he was admitted into the hospital with an Angina attack. He did not get much rest while in the hospital and was tired. Whisper crawled up next to him to go to sleep with him. This was such a scary time for us. The journaling reads:
I took this picture while you were resting after coming home from the hospital the day after you were admitted with Angina. You gave me quite a scare as I can not imagine my life and my world without you. Whisper cuddled up next to you and napped with you. It was a very scary time for us, but together we got over this hurdle and your heart stress test the next time came back fine. I am proud that you have decided to quit smoking!

Did you check out all those sales this weekend? Wow, I got some great kits over at Scrapbook Bytes from their Birthday sale and scored a huge kit for free!! Can not go wrong with a sale and freebie all at the same time! I have so much scrapping to do but been so busy with things at home and making some freebies, its like addicting or something. I got a few of Lindsey Jane’s mini kits and two of Melissa Bennetts kits I had on my wish list!!
There is an awesome sale going on over at Elemental Scraps too. Where is my income tax refund when I need it!!

If you have a car that you no longer want and wish to donate check out carangel.com first. Car Angel is a non-profit company that takes cars that are donated and uses them along with other donations to make videos for kids and teens. You can donate car or money and help make a difference in a child’s life. I think its important for our teens today to get as much support and encouragement in the fight against using drugs. Well out of shear frustration, a designer has decided to close her group she used to share her beautiful mini kits with. She has been a tagger’s dream let me tell you! It’s really a shame that the select few idiots have to run it for the rest of us. I fully understand the need to change terms of use, but because others were no longer allowed to hand them out to people anymore, they throw huge fit and harass the designer so she said enough and is closing her group! Very very sad indeed.
Why do people have to be so mean all the time? I mean out of the kindness of her heart she shared her stuff for FREE and you all act like a bunch of preschool brats!
I emailed the designer and fully support her decision. Sorry to see it go, but that is what happens when others take advantage of freebies!!
So to those who appreciate the free scrap goodies you get to play with, enjoy them, as many are going to get fed up too and stop doing it for free when others treat you like crap! Make sure you say thank you and let the designer know how much you do appreciate it. This is a huge problem for many, they don’t use good manners, say please or thank you, or drop a nice note of appreciation, they grab the freebies up and go! Then the designer feels used, abused and under appreciated and taken for granted and then they no longer want to be generous. You can be upset with them at that point when they get harassed because of a change in terms… The only change was you can not pass them out to others, or give away in tutorial supplies, that as it. It meant for members only! That was the only change. It’s really a shame indeed!!
Think it’s time

I think it’s time for us to seriously sit down and talk about what happens if something happens to one of us. As it is right now, with the scare earlier in the month with my hubby, if he was to pass away, I would lose our house. I been comparing life insurance quotes over the past few weeks and I am really nervous about bringing it up with my hubby right now. I don’t want him to take it the wrong way, with him quitting smoking, he can read into things the wrong way. I am trying to avoid that if all possible. But its something we seriously need to sit down and discuss.
