Making chocolate covered pretzels!

This is a scrap of my teens helping me finish up dipping pretzels into the chocolate, by the time my daughter got home from school that day I was more then ready for some help after making 200 buckeyes. They finished dipping and I sprinkled and put them in the refrigerator to harden. I always loved making the pretzels with the kids as they grew up!!

Christmas Cookies Part II

This is a scrap of the rest of the cookies that I made for Christmas Time. This scrap shows the peanut butter blossoms, and german chocolate cookies with white chocolate morsels.
Every year I take all the goodies and make up gift boxes to give out to family, friends and neighbors. This year I baked over 648 cookies!! I always give my step son a whole dozen of the peanut butter blossoms to take home with him because its his favorite cookie!!

This is a scrap page of three different kinds of cookies that I made this year. I made six different kind of cookies this year. These are sugar, chocolate chip, and peanut butter. (I did make chocolate chip with walnut) Sugar cookies are my favorite! I actually took a very old fashioned recipe and adapted it and they turned out pretty!! I wrote down what I did so I remember for next year!!

Homemade Buckeyes!

I thought I would scrap some of my goodies that I made for Christmas Time, as there are some online who think I don’t do this stuff! These are the buckeyes. If you don’t know what I buckeye is, its a chocolate and peanut butter candy! I made the peanut butter filling the night before, then spent the next day rolling peanut butter balls to dip into chocolate! I made over 200 of these lil things!! These are my hubby’s favorite candy.
