Hubby lovin his flat panel TV

My hubby is really loving his flat panel television! You know since I got it for him I have yet had the chance to play my Wii!! I am not kidding. But he thinks the living room is missing something. I know in the great scheme of things he would like to mount the television to the wall and put some home theater lighting above it. Can you see me shaking my head? I think I created a monster! I have to take his laptop away soon!!

My view on it!

Seeing how I am going to remain out of the light of the online drama in the scrapping world, I do have to have my say on something. As I wanted to comment at the persons blog but chose to leave my comment here. For what it’s worth, its my view on it!

If you paid to join a site, and you give just cause for the owner of the site to cancel your membership, which they are well within their right to do, as per their terms and you do not get a refund. Yes that is upsetting, you don’t think they had “just cause” so you take it to the proper channels, you go to paypal, dispute it and hope for the best. But unfortunately you may not like the end results. So chalk it up as a live and learn situation. Now the site closed due to others posting things that were copyright protected and for members only, on a smack blog. OK first off no good can come from a smack blog! There is a huge difference between boycotting or doing a buyer beware! But that’s another post for another time! Now that everyone is fired up and forming a lynch mob because they are all angry they lost money from the site closing, without even giving it a week for crying out loud, decided to get mean and dirty. So this person who was kicked out of the site decided over a month later to file a complaint with the better business bureau. Now this person is upset at the end results. Guess where that person went wrong? Her complaint was not strictly based on her being kicked from the site, no she choose to bring to light about a site closing, which had NOTHING to do with her, as she was removed from the site weeks before it was closed. So “technically” it was wrong, no matter the intention to help others who are affected by the site closing. Regardless it does show contentious behavior because her statement included a situation they were not personally involved with.

That right there pretty much sums it up. Now this is fueling yet a new fire and really it just needs to be laid to rest. I don’t need this crap coming to my email, yes others see it, they send to me because they feel I need to file a complaint at the better business bureau because because I was a member of the site that closed. No I don’t think so! I don’t need others online to come and tell me how to handle my business with a link to this girls blog saying I should do the same and come and watch my blog for me to behave in such a manner. NO I won’t do it.

I am publicly requesting all you folks who continue to use my contact email to send me this stuff or leaving me comments that are pending to be approved regarding any of this drama to CEISE and DESIST immediately! It will not be tolerated.
