Sometimes I wish..

Sometimes the wall’s around me at home tend to creep in on me. Sometimes I just feel the need to want to get out! I need some me time. I wish I had a mobile router! I could power up my laptop, pack it and on nice days head to the park and sit under a tree or a bench in the shade looking over the beautiful lake and just enjoy some time alone on the Internet. It’s like I always have eyes around me with my son home all the time. When dad is bored, since I am his caregiver, he tend to sit and watch me too. Hubby doesn’t like me going down the hall into the bedroom so I can have some alone time. But if I had that mobile router I be heading to the park a lot!! I mean a lot! Alone!
Checking and Balancing

Seriously, the system of checks and balances is not something new here since our kids were born! It really is not that hard to keep track of what you deposit and withdraw out of your checking account. Yet it seems my stepson is having trouble with this. He is using his debit card for purchases and is not keeping track of what he is taking out and is consistently having issues and thinks he is being ripped by the bank in fee’s. Now its not the fault of his bank, its his lack of financial responsibility here. I think he needs to get rid of that debit card for a while until he can take the time. But I don’t understand is this, I learned this in school in math class, don’t they teach these kids anything these days? I know this much, his mom, and this is a huge rant let me tell you, never took the time to teach him responsibility and we have argued hubby and I over this for years as he felt his hands were tied since he only visited us and not lived with us. Go figure!
