Get funky and strike a pose!
April 12, 2008
I have to tell you I just love it when I do find the perfect kit to go with my pictures. This is one of my son and daughter striking poses for me! My son always had to do something goofy or the peace sign with his fingers!

This is a scrap page of my daughter playing her boyfriends gamecube he is letting her use! She is quite spoiled let me tell you, do you see Shrek and his babies on her bed? Yep her “chicken” bought her that. Chicken is his nickname, will safe that for a scrap with the story soon!!

I just adore this picture I scanned. This is a picture of my daughter and I back in the summer of 1993. That was a house I was renting and for $300 a month can you believe it, and had my porch swing, my daughter and I would sit for hours together on the porch swing reading, talking and playing!! In this picture we were looking through her baby book! OH the memories it brings back!

Oh no I created a monster!
April 12, 2008
Oh my goodness I think I created a monster. You see we have a patio in the front that is enclosed. We had these mushroom chair and table set but the chairs were older and well was like sitting in a clam shell and sometimes closed on you! So we decided this year to get some new chairs. We got some new chairs and two loungers last weekend, nothing fancy but it looks nice just the same and since the sun just beats in because there are no blinds or curtains and more importantly NO privacy, we got some inexpensive bamboo type blinds. Now hubby was sitting out there resting as he hangs the blinds telling me he wants to put a TV in there. Now you are taking needing cables like CAT5e, and running from a splitter in the attic and down into the patio area. You should hear him. I don’t think we need a TV out there, seriously! Someone could steal it ya know. Oh no he wants to mount it. If he even thinks we are getting a flat panel for the front porch he is out of his mind!
I am thinking of doing something
April 12, 2008
Since my daughter is graduating in June, I am thinking about checking out promotional products I could order, and then personalize them with like her name and class of 2008, or a congratulations with her name on them and have some keepsakes. I think cost wise it would be cheaper that way than a few places I have checked into for personalizing her decorations. I love to get some mints, that would be cool, or maybe some cups they drink their beverages from that day at the party and get to take it home. I think it would be great to have something special to add to her keepsake box!
