As a few of my friends know and maybe some visitors I am in the process of working on my store, Kiss My Scrap Designs. Summer has proven to be a challenge with so many things that just comes up unexpectedly like health issues, home improvements, garage sale, and spending my last days of watching the girls since this was my last summer with them. I have had them since they were six weeks old and they are five and six years old. YEARS. This nanny’s heart is mending but still broken at the moment. So as long as things wind down as fall approaches I will have more time to devote to my designs. I am thinking of ordering some promotional items to help spread the word of my new site. I think this would be a good investment and maybe draw some attention from the traditional scrappers too! I love scrapping digitally and for me I don’t have to hear my husband complain I keep buying kits and supplies!!
Memories of the past

Well I am in the last day of my garage sale. Not doing too bad today. When I was going through stuff to sort and sell in the garage sale I came across the trophies I won when I was in high school. One was for Marketing Education and one for the Ohio Office Education Association when I took second place. I was so proud! Just like scrapping pages, when you open a trunk or a storage container and start to sort through those memories, you feel as if it was just yesterday you know? Then you snap to reality, realize your OLD!! But it was great to get to look through everything again!!!

A sweet friend of mine sent me an email that brought a huge smile to my face. You see when she has her picture taken she would smile but never show her teeth, she just did not like how her smile looked. Well I had no idea she was went to see a charlotte cosmetic dentist. She kept that her best kept secret! She sent me an email and wow her smile was so pretty, it was just beautiful and it so good to see her smile like she is now. I hope to get the original size of the photos she took as they were re-sized so I can make her a special scrap page!!
Wish I had a place for it

I wish I had a place outside to hang a hammock chair. Have you seen them? Our local farmers market has them and man do they ever look comfortable. I would love to get one of those to take the place of my canopy swing which I am thinking of putting in the garage sale when I have it. Being that we live this close to the lake, not “on” the lake but closer, when the winds are off the lake that thing just get twisted and turned. We did not have this problem when we lived more in the city but its OK. With a hammock chair I would be able to take it down during storms and it would be much easier to store. So I am seriously giving it some thought. Do you have a hammock chair? If you have any pictures scrapped and you or your family enjoying it, link me up!
Went for ride in Amish Country

I went for a ride through Amish Country, near Middlefield Ohio and I seen some of the most beautiful farms. I just love visiting there. When I was much younger I got to take a tour of an Amish Home and really loved it. I could imagine myself then living like the Amish. There was a farm where they sold farm and horse supplies, much of it hand made, and they had a little stand where the little ones were selling some veggies. You know I just had to stop! I also love to go down to Sugar Creek and have some beautiful photos to scrap. Of course out of respect of the Amish beliefs I did not take any photos with them in them.
