Hubby missing his “Betty”

This year for our 10th Wedding Anniversary, I wanted to get my hubby something that he would absolutely love but save my sanity when we travel, so I saved up and got him a GPS. He named it “Betty”, the card that he is. We used it ONCE to travel down to Sugarcreek, Ohio to stay two nights. Our neighbor across the street borrowed it the weekend after that and she is now in Chicago and asked to borrow “Betty” again. Now my hubby is saying how he is missing his “Betty”. That man just cracks me up sometimes. I told him that he is just jealous that “Betty” gets to travel and he doesn’t. I mean, seriously, who names their GPS Betty???

My son is just going through this phase in his life called puberty. Now we don’t need to get into details about this road as this is after all a public blog. But he is now entering the phase where acne is entering the picture and he is totally wigging out. Now my daughter has battled with acne and tried so many different acne treatments, that she is trying to tell my son which products work, and which ones don’t. She was in the bathroom actually demonstrating how to apply the medication which cracked me up, so being the camera nut that I am, I was very sneaky and went in and took a picture. My son is screaming mom because he thinks I will scrap that and publish here in my blog. No I won’t do that, but it is so going into his graduation book I am making him!!!

Well I think I have just about had it with those new folks who moved into a house who live behind us on one side. All that dog does is bark all night and there is a ordinance but do they care? NO! I have not been well and in the mist of having testing done for the headaches and the last thing I want to hear is a dog parking!! We have a chain link fence but I want a privacy fence put up so checking with the city to see if we need a permit for the new fence installation. I know that won’t block the noise but at least my poor cats won’ have to “see” the dog and flip out anymore. One more night of a cat landing on my head I am going to scream!!
I apologize for not having an update for the shoppe yet but I have been under the weather. But thanks to everyone for the comments and emails!! Much appreciated!!

Now that some things at home have slowed down a bit, I had some time to make some new products for sale at my shop. I am going to post some updates next.
I also plan on creating a freebie to put up at the shop that will not be stored at the yahoo update, but available only for a limited time for free, then put up for sale at a low price. Keep your eyes out for a freebie soon!!

I will be heading to our local library soon because I just did a search online at their site and the books they have on the subject of scrapbooking, wow I am just amazed! I had no idea there was so many. I also found a few I want to read on some of the programs I use, and trying to still master. I was looking for some books that teach beginning Spanish for my son because he has to take a foreign language class this upcoming school year and like to get him a jump on the subject. Of course he is whining about it because its his summer break. Well all he is doing is playing on the computer, taking a swim in the pool or playing his hand held game, seriously he could take one hour a day and work a little bit. It won’t kill him for heaven sakes, but he sure is acting like it will!!

I found some pictures online as I was surfing the web, of some St. John villa rentals and I am like saying to myself oh what a perfect vacation getaway that would make great scrap layouts! Do you ever do that, as a fellow scrapper? If you know your going to be out possibly traveling, to plan a few hot spots to take pictures? I am so bad now, I can be riding as a passenger in our car when I am out with hubby (he says its the mans place to do the driving) and I look at something and say oh darn, I wish I had my camera! Yeah I am finding myself doing this more and more!! I have some pretty pictures I took down in Amish Country when we went away for our Anniversary that I can’t wait to scrap!
