Dad in hospital

August 16, 2007

This is a scrap of my dad from when he was in the hospital three weeks ago with pneumonia. He is always pushing him self each day and never stays home to rest when he is not feeling well. He has COPD/Emphysema and has Rheumatoid Arthritis in advanced stages. He lives with us and I am his caregiver. Each day he was in I spent the entire day with him so he would not be there all alone as he has no one else to come visit him.

The Journaling reads: Dad, You live life to the fullest and it seems I can never get you to slow down so you don’t wear yourself out, but then again life has a way of saying hey you slow down. You have to take a rest every now and then. So here you are at Lake West relaxing and reading the paper. You mean the world to me. Love you, Susan
