Getting Frustrated with printing

Lately I am really having the hardest time getting a good print from layouts I have done for a scrapbook I am doing. I just don’t understand what has changed. My printer use to do really great prints. Its just now a year old and I haven’t really make it print it’s little heart out or anything. I was working on a little project for a Christmas present to send to my mom and just not liking the prints. I just may have to break down come the New Year (after the Holidays) and buy a new printer. I think this time I will hook it up to our network so this way whether I am working on the desktop or from my laptop I can print without hopping back and forth!!
