Getting my Christmas Shopping done…

Hubby and I went Christmas Shopping yesterday.  We are trying to get our shopping done, as I do each year, by  Thanksgiving, except for a few items I order online.  I just don’t do well with crowds this time of year and there are certain places I already avoid as it is, like the mall, but more so during the busy holiday season.  My dad asked me today if I would buy cigars for his friend at the mall for him and he would pay us back, if we head out today.  I was kind of stunned for a minute.  I don’t really don’t know the first thing about cigars honestly.  I guess dads muffler came out of the hanger and while at the mall, his friend had went out into the parking lot and fixed it for him.  I think that was very sweet and can you imagine what some must of been thinking as they were walking in and out of the parking lot with this man under dads car working on it?  He knows my dads arthritis is pretty bad, not to mention he is 68 years old.  It must of came out during his drive that day and was worried about making it home so hubby could fix it.  He wants to give them to him to say thank you.  Hopefully I remember and don’t forget.  Hubby is watching the game and I am getting ready to browse some ads online since we don’t get a paper anymore.  I may have to have my hubby go to the mini market on Thanksgiving around the corner for a paper so I can see the sales I will be missing!  Actually only because we picked up some gifts already and was told if they were in the ad we could come in for a price adjustment!
