I think it would be a wise thing to do

Well last weekend, hubby’s sister moved his mom in with them.  They told us the move took sixteen hours to do, which totally blows our minds a little bit, because we are trying to figure out where in the world they put a house full of furniture into a house that is already full of furniture.  I remember when dad moved in with us over nine years ago (goodness it will be ten soon) and we had to get a storage unit for the things he had, then he ended up selling them because he couldn’t afford a place on his own anyhow, then his health got worse.  We suggested to them to declare his moms things now on their home insurance.  We did with dad’s things.  You have too, I mean what if, heaven forbid there is a fire?  We even had to send pictures in to keep on file with our home insurance rep.  I know some of her things are also being stored his his other brothers house and well trust me that isn’t going to be a permanent thing.  I am really surprised she didn’t leave some things at the house for her grandson to use.  Hubby feels guilty because he didn’t help, but that I don’t understand, they did not ask us for one, and they had plenty of people helping too, I really think if they needed him they would of asked.  I don’t think he should feel guilty at all.  I know when they moved his mom years ago down where she was, he did a lot of hauling then, and that is when he use to have a truck.  Now we just have a little car, and with the daughters work schedule, by the time he could of gotten there to help, they would of been on the road headed this way.
