Now that some things at home have slowed down a bit, I had some time to make some new products for sale at my shop. I am going to post some updates next.
I also plan on creating a freebie to put up at the shop that will not be stored at the yahoo update, but available only for a limited time for free, then put up for sale at a low price. Keep your eyes out for a freebie soon!!

I will be heading to our local library soon because I just did a search online at their site and the books they have on the subject of scrapbooking, wow I am just amazed! I had no idea there was so many. I also found a few I want to read on some of the programs I use, and trying to still master. I was looking for some books that teach beginning Spanish for my son because he has to take a foreign language class this upcoming school year and like to get him a jump on the subject. Of course he is whining about it because its his summer break. Well all he is doing is playing on the computer, taking a swim in the pool or playing his hand held game, seriously he could take one hour a day and work a little bit. It won’t kill him for heaven sakes, but he sure is acting like it will!!

I found some pictures online as I was surfing the web, of some St. John villa rentals and I am like saying to myself oh what a perfect vacation getaway that would make great scrap layouts! Do you ever do that, as a fellow scrapper? If you know your going to be out possibly traveling, to plan a few hot spots to take pictures? I am so bad now, I can be riding as a passenger in our car when I am out with hubby (he says its the mans place to do the driving) and I look at something and say oh darn, I wish I had my camera! Yeah I am finding myself doing this more and more!! I have some pretty pictures I took down in Amish Country when we went away for our Anniversary that I can’t wait to scrap!
Famous Names

Isn’t it amazing when you hear a name, that it reminds you of something? Like Famous Amos, you think of cookies, Johnson and Johnson, you think of baby shampoo, and Johnston and Murphy, you think of luggage, and Smith and Wesson, you think of guns! It just amazes me how our mind works and how those famous names can right away come to your mind with a product. I took a fun quiz once online and lost the bookmark to the site where you matched logos to the company. I really enjoy those kinds of things. To many when you hear dumb and dumber you think of the movie, but in our household its the stupid plumbers who broke my bathroom sink! Yes they busted our sink doing some warranty work! So now I have a new faucet and no sink now.  This isn’t the first time the warranty company sent out dumb and dumber, who last fall took an entire day to replacing a par that should of only taken 10 minutes on our hot water tank! So now they are going to be remembered in my mind with the famous names. I will never forget them!!

I was curious today as I was searching job listings online and thought I check jobs in Philadelphia, as my hubby and I have talked several times about relocating to another state. Sometimes I just am so bored living here in Lake County. I know I have family in Philadelphia on my dads side and never even met them!! He came from a family with eleven brothers and sisters and wonder what it would be like to meet them finally and catch up. Sometimes I think this would be good for my dad too, to see family he has not seen in years. This is why I scrap. I want my kids to one day be able to reflect back and share these moments with their children and grandchildren. I found some pictures that I am going to scan but I have to tell you I don’t even know who to ask who they are because my dad just can’t remember them all after all these years.

I love my laptop but…
I do love my laptop very much so that my husband got for me for my birthday last year. But I am not happy with Vista at all and have had problems from day one! Mostly it sits to collect dust. I was on with support last week and they were telling me this particular model, many people have downgraded to XP. Of course I am not happy that I have to pay that money to downgrade but I have been checking dell memory cards and wondering if maybe I could add more memory to my laptop first I would have better luck. I don’t want to have to take my laptop to the geek squad since they messed it up once already. But I thought if I try adding more memory maybe it would run better. But I think that would just be wasting my money, I should just downgrade and get it over with while I still can!!
