Update on dad…

August 2, 2007

I have a mini update. I am exhausted and feeling that no sleep today thats for sure. They have dad on the cardiac ward because his blood oxygen is still too low. We are hoping that it improves and that today they can put him on the regular floor. I did get him to eat once they put him on a regular diet. I am taking some watermelon today for him, I forgot yesterday my mind was just going in circles. He had me bring his clothes home that I took cause he thought someone would take them.

They gave him several breathing treatments throughout the day. They also gave him a shot in his stomach so he would not get any blood clots. He said that it burned when he got it. I stayed till 7 last night and told him I was really exhausted and was going home for the night so I could get some rest. I felt bad but I am tired..I know he is alone up there and has no one else to be with him. He hates being alone.

Its really a hot one, so I told him he picked the right time to be in the hospital cause it would of been too hot to be driving around in is car.
